Templates make it easier for users to add new pages. Instead of requiring that each bit of new information be added by hand, templates have some text and structure already filled in.
Templates are standard wiki pages except that they follow a convention that the name is prefixed with “Template:”, assigning it to that namespace; besides this, you can create them like any other wiki page.

In order to create a wiki page template, follow these steps:
- Navigate to your group and click on the “Wiki” tab
- Inside the wiki, click the “New” button
- Insert “Template” inside of the title of the new wiki page
- Format the template of the wiki page inside of “Page Text”
- Click “Save”
- Click the “New” button again
- Under “Template”, select from the drop-down your new template, and the stylized page text will appear
