The first thing you should know is that there is no magic formula or a pre-established structure to do an admission essay. Normally the Admissions Offices will give you one or more questions that you must answer throughout the essay; therefore the first rule is that your essay must fully answer the question or questions that were asked. If you are trying to impress by talking about topics that you consider are very important but have nothing to do with what you were asked, your essay will most likely not be well regarded by the Admissions Offices.
