About

This PET/CT project has two primary aims:

Specific Aim 1:           To measure the quantitative imaging characteristics of modern PET/CT scanners when presented with the task of measuring concentration of very small objects (4mm-10mm diameter) using longer-duration, limited axial spatial extent acquisitions.

Specific Aim 2:           To assess the impact of advanced (Time of Flight and Point-Response-Function enabled) reconstruction techniques  on quantitation and detection of these very small objects under various:

    1.         Reconstruction scenarios

    2.         Concentration ratios (to background)

    3.         Scan Duration
