National Cancer Informatics Program (NCIP) Hub has been renamed to the NCI Community Hub. Along with a new name and URL (ncihub.org) the NCI Community Hub has a modernized and user-friendly homepage. The old URL will be automatically and permanently redirected starting from the release date, July 7, 2019.
Dr. Thulasee Jose is a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Anesthesia and Perioperative Medicine at Mayo Clinic, Rochester. She also collaborates with the Mayo Clinic Nicotine Dependence Center, MN. She has extensive clinical and translational research background in tobacco cessation identification and treatment interventions among hospitalized patients. Her broad research focuses on "patient optimization process" and primary research area is in perioperative smoking cessation, with a particular interest in the design and implementation of tobacco dependence treatment interventions in oncology clinical settings. Her recent work includes clinical documentation for tobacco use on EPIC, systematic identification of tobacco use by mid level providers in clinical settings, tobacco treatment interventions protocol for the Ottawa Model for Smoking Cessation Program, Division of Cardiac Prevention and Rehabilitation, University of Ottawa Heart Institute.
