Scope of the DICOM Working Group 30.

• To develop or consult on CPs and Supplements requiring detailed expertise on small animal models and handling techniques and/or expertise on the needs and work of translational research scientists. • To leverage and extend existing animal-related descriptions included in DICOM (including species, breed, genotype, anatomy, view and orientation) • To serve as a liaison body to facilitate including data relevant to the small animal imaging community in DICOM objects.
